As Senior Vice President of Business Development at Elephant Ventures, Salo is charged with all facets of business development, including overall strategy, new market segments, and managing the existing client base. Salo will also guide the overall strategy for both Elephant Ventures and our clients. She brings over 20 years of experience in the areas of business development, management and business development strategy. Most recently, Salo was the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Strategic Empowerment Enterprises.
Prior to Strategic Empowerment Enterprises, Salo was Vice President, Indian Country Technology Services at IconNicholson where she identified, implemented, managed and grew the Indian Country division throughout the U.S. Her involvement helped lead IconNicholson teams through such successful website initiatives as www.Pechanga.com and www.SanManuel.com, both award-winning sites.
Salo recently completed the Executive Leadership Program at Cornell. She is in the process of completing her Master of Science degree in Economic Development at Southern New Hampshire University.
