Steampunk e-cigarette

New U.S.-made ‘Steampunk Sparkplug’ e-cigarette launched by McDonald Webb, Inc.

SPRING HILL, Tenn. /Advertising Industry Newswire/ — McDonald Webb, Inc. (www.mcdonaldwebb.com) today introduced The Steampunk Sparkplug for Smokers, the first domestically produced, mass marketed e-cigarette. With a rechargeable battery lasting up to 12 hours with normal use, and a casing so strong it comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty, The Steampunk Sparkplug is the first product of its kind that will allow users to leave their cigarettes at home without worry.

Steampunk e-cigarette“This is a cutting edge product far superior to anything on the market,” said James McDonald co-founder of McDonald Webb, “Not only does it give the smoker all the elements of a regular cigarette: smoke, taste, and nicotine; but it does this without smelly smoke, fire, or even one switch. We believe the Steampunk Sparkplug will do for the e-cigarette, what Zippo did to the match.”

What is an E-Cigarette?

E-cigarettes were invented in China about four years ago. They work by heating a glycol substance with nicotine and tobacco flavoring added. While a popular novelty item, e-cigarettes contain many consumable parts that fail and must be replaced often. They also use a battery that only lasts several minutes with constant use.

Due to quality and reliability issues, e-cigarettes, while viewed by most as a good idea, have largely been disappointing and are considered a market failure, until now.

About a year ago, McDonald Webb founders Jon Webb and James McDonald designed, manufactured and began testing an e-cigarette product designed to be as reliable as a normal cigarette.

  1. Excellent report about McDonald Webb. Now that we have a serious and credible U.S. manufacturer of Electronic Cigarettes, our health issues are much more controllable.

U.S. consumers of E Cigarettes will now be able to trust that their smokeless product is produced without carcinogens.

    It’s about time!!!

  2. I just got the sp2. It works, but i am used to the smoke of a VAPURE e-cig(2-piece). This is like the 3 piece that disappointed me with the lack of vapor and battery life. I know this battery will last a whole lot longer. Will it be long enough to compensate for the lack of vapor. We’ll see….
