NEW YORK /Advertising Industry Newswire/ — At the Personal Democracy Forum Conference in New York today, ElectionMall and Microsoft Corp. announced a strategic partnership to provide the one-stop technology shop for running and winning political and issue advocacy campaigns. As part of the relationship, the companies introduced Campaign Cloud, an integrated set of customizable technologies, from online collaboration to robust Web presence.

The Microsoft and ElectionMall.com relationship provides a unified environment for campaigns of all sizes to manage technologies in one place, taking people out of the business of technology to focus on winning the campaign. From school board candidacies to national congressional or presidential campaigns, the Campaign Cloud services strengthen the core elements of political or activist campaigns – fund raising, generating votes and building awareness.

“In today’s environment, campaigns should spend more time on winning and less on managing multiple technology decisions. Now, through our joint offering with Microsoft, we can help democratize the online campaign and election process in an unprecedented way,” said Ravi Singh, CEO and founder of ElectionMall. “Our 10 years of experience in the space combined with Microsoft’s trusted technologies will together empower the everyday candidate and help increase political participation.”

Campaign Cloud will provide end-to-end campaign services, including tools to do the following:
* Build a Web presence (http://johnsmith.voterspace.com)
* Manage communications and collaboration with staff, donors and volunteers
* Raise money online and manage donor base
* Promote awareness with e-mail, phone, text and online advertising, and through social networks
* Manage get-out-the-vote efforts.

“From running and staffing a campaign to engaging voters, today’s candidates expect technologies that enhance their efforts in powerful ways,” said Curt Kolcun, vice president, Microsoft U.S. Public Sector. “The partnership combines ElectionMall’s expertise with Microsoft’s cloud capabilities to offer long-term, scalable tools for greater impact.”

Today’s announcement is part of Microsoft’s Campaign Ready offering (http://www.microsoft.com/campaignready).

BARCELONA, Spain /Advertising Industry Newswire/ — In conjunction with the launch of ElectionMall’s new ElectionMall.EU website, Ravi Singh, CEO of ElectionMall Technologies, will be speaking in Barcelona, Spain at the first ever European conference held by the Personal Democracy Forum. For the last six years, the Personal Democracy Forum has served as a hub for American politicos, government enthusiasts, and technology fans to gather and share information on the Internet and how it is changing the American political landscape.

The Personal Democracy Forum has recognized the growing interest among European politicians to create a more transparent and engaging political process, one of the side effects of Barack Obama’s campaign in 2008. Ravi Singh will be focusing his speech on Social Networking sites, and how these are an effective tool for expanding participation for all politicians and voters

At this event, ElectionMall will re-launch http://www.ElectionMall.eu – its new website dedicated to tailoring technology to European political and cultural behaviors. Currently, 76 percent of European Internet users are utilizing social networking sites, and there is a high internet penetration in most countries.

“The first ever PDF conference to be held in Europe is an ideal venue for the re-launch of ElectionMall.EU,” stated Singh. “I could not be more excited about sharing our best practices with the European market and helping them start their own political Internet revolution.”

ElectionMall has decided to re-release its new website after the company received numerous requests from European politicians for insights on utilizing the Internet for their campaigns. Previously, the company has worked with several members of the EU Parliament, using its Brussels office as an ElectionMall Europe headquarters. The Brussels office stands as a division of ElectionMall’s international franchises, such as the offices in Mexico City, in addition to newly opened offices in Ukraine and Malaysia.

“The EU has a lot of potential for growth in this area. ElectionMall has recognized it, and now so has PDF, and I’m happy to just be a part of it,” comments Singh.

PANAMA CITY, Panama /Advertising Industry Newswire/ — Ravi Singh, the CEO of ElectionMall Technologies, will be speaking on “The Wide Swath” panel at the annual IAPC conference. The IAPC, or the International Association of Political Consultants, is an organization of professionals in the political sphere, dedicated to helping spread democracy throughout the world. Their main event is an annual conference, where many gather to discuss upcoming world elections and deconstruct recent trends in the political cycle.

The location of Panama for this year’s annual conference reflects the country’s strides to make the democratic process more accessible to its inhabitants. About 13 percent of the country’s population currently uses the internet regularly, a number that is five times the average in 2000.

Currently, the president of Panama, Ricardo Martinelli, is attempting to execute his plan to bring free internet to even the most rural areas. This plan has been coined “Internet for All Initiative” and has already begun being implemented in some areas. Ravi Singh states, “It’s beyond inspiring that this great country is making internet free. Governments need internet to help with transparency, and this initiative will go a long way to helping keep the people involved in all discussions.”

Ravi Singh will be speaking about e-democracy and ElectionMall Technologies’ newest platform, the campaign cloud. The campaign cloud combines all of the integral aspects of an online campaign into one place, easing the burden for campaigns.

Ravi states, “What works in the United States will not work exactly the same way in Central America. I’m confident that the technology can still make an impact and adapt to this area to help bring the political process a little closer to everyday voters.”

The next Presidential election in Panama is scheduled for 2014. Ravi hopes that by this date, Panama, along with the rest of Central America, will have extended the internet for all initiative and take democracy to the next level.

WASHINGTON, D.C. and TORONTO, Canada /Advertising Industry Newswire/ — Ravi Singh, CEO and founder of ElectionMall Technologies, is scheduled to speak at the 10th annual Art and Science of Public Affairs conference, sponsored by the Public Affairs Association of Canada. ElectionMall Technologies is a campaign technology company that is dedicated to helping campaigns of all sizes utilize technology and reach voters since 2000. Singh is recognized as the “Campaign Guru,” a global expert on campaign technology.

Singh will be speaking on U.S. politics Thursday morning, focusing on the political sphere after Obama’s campaign, and if these changes can be applied to Canada’s political climate. Currently over 83 percent of the population of Canada is using the internet, according to International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

“Social networking sites are the new town halls,” stresses Ravi Singh. “Canadian Politicians need to start using these resources to engage voters with their representatives.”

Currently, several social networking outlets exist for politicians in Canada, but few are taking advantage of them. Twitter has less than 100 Canadian politicians using the site, whereas the United States has an entire separate Twitter location for all the members of Congress. MySpace has created an “Impact Canada” site that allows political parties to answer voters’ questions, but currently only the Liberal Party has joined the site. Additionally, only two prominent Canadian politicians had used MySpace to reach voters as of 2008.

Ravi Singh plans on explaining why Obama’s use of the Internet, notably social networking tools such as Facebook and MyBarackObama, had such an impact on the election results. Mr. Singh hopes to empower the Canadian politicians, helping them better utilize existing tools to reach constituents.

“I hope this information will be a catalyst to the Canadian population and help them reach a new level of democracy within their political system,” states Singh.

The 10th annual Art and Science of Public Affairs conference will be occurring November 4-5 at the Toronto Board of Trade. For information on attending Mr. Singh’s speech, please contact Bernie Morton at Bmmorton@sussex-strategy.com or directly at 416-644-4756. To set up a phone interview with Ravi Singh, please contact Liz at 202-468-5955 for scheduling.

WASHINGTON, D.C. /Advertising Industry Newswire/ — After nine years of providing technology to political campaigns ElectionMall.com has learned a few things about the common challenges many of their clients face. “Running for political office isn’t easy,” describes ElectionMall CEO Ravi Singh. “We see a lot of campaigns that don’t know where to begin and are struggling to figure it all out. Large campaigns can afford the consultants, but the medium and small campaigns have to figure things out as things go. At ElectionMall we understood this problem and provided a one-stop-shop solution for campaigns so they can get started.”

In order to make things easier for campaigns, ElectionMall has put together “Campaign in the Box” packages. ElectionMall combines its cutting-edge online technology tools with traditional campaign items such as Yard Signs, Voter Data, and other promotional items to provide a cost-effective and time saving solution.

ElectionMall offers a wide-range of packages to campaigns based upon their budget and the office they are seeking. The “Campaign in the Box” packages include a website, online fundraising platform, permission-based email tools, widgets, online advertising, yard signs, and a plethora of promotional items. Through the “Campaign in the Box” program, ElectionMall is allowing campaigns to access these tools via a “Campaign Cloud” of both traditional and non-traditional campaign services.

ElectionMall first started offering the “Campaign in the Box” package in 2006 and expanded its offering to campaigns of all sizes in 2008, even allowing clients to customize their own Box.

Since ElectionMall started in 2000, it has strived to provide flexible and new solutions to campaigns. This is no new territory. Through the SaaS platforms ElectionMall has worked with over 200 plus campaigns in just 2009, even though it is considered an off-year election.

With technology changing so quickly, it can be hard for campaigns to stay up-to-date with all the new tools so ElectionMall also provides best practices to its clients. These “best practices” range from tips on designing a Yard Sign to formatting a fundraising email. Through online tutorials, ElectionMall is not just providing technology, but also educating the market.

“Campaigns like the fact we provide best practices to the campaign and just focus on technology to help them implement their strategies,” said Singh “The small campaigns are the future Congressman of tomorrow and ElectionMall is excited about leading the way!”

Established in 1999,ElectionMall.com. is a non-partisan world leader in providing on demand (SaaS) Internet-based solutions for campaigns and elections worldwide, effectively utilizing technology and business know how to enable candidates, advocacy groups, and nonprofits to generate enhanced gains in awareness, funds, and votes.

NEW YORK, N.Y. — ElectionMall launches new social media tools – great for candidates from school board to President. As technology continues to drive political participation at all levels, the need for the latest tools makes all the difference as candidates, from the school board to the White House, look to engage voters, raise money and win on Election Day. “Thanks to President Obama, everyday is a campaign day,” said Ravi Singh, CEO and founder of ElectionMall(R) Technologies Inc. (EMT). In acknowledgement of this, Founder of Personal Democracy Forum Andrew Rasiej joined Singh in a press conference today at the 6th Annual Personal Democracy Forum (PDF) – which is the world’s largest and best known conference on the intersection of technology and politics – announcing the launch of the Money Bomb(TM) fundraising widget for Facebook(R).

Money Bomb(TM) helps campaigns of any size raise money and is compliant with the fundraising rules of the Federal Election Commission as well as state and local laws.

“Money Bomb is a fundraising tool the McCain 2008 campaign wish it had,” Singh said. “Since our systems of election laws are complex, technology needs to accommodate the paradigm shift from large campaigns to smaller ones, simply using the latest technology to empower them with the same tools. Fundraising is the ‘mother’s milk of politics in the United States.”

“As we have recently seen in Iran and Europe, technology is changing political participation worldwide,” Singh said. “Technology empowers would-be challengers to compete with incumbents. It allows a candidate to raise the money they will need to compete. A candidate armed with the latest technology can bring down the ‘good ol’ boy,’ and that is what we are doing.”

“With the rise of social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, the question continues to be how you use it – how can you engage users with your message and empower them to participate,” Singh added. “Every candidate wants to emulate the success of the Obama campaign, and ElectionMall is offering those campaigns the right tools at the right time.”
